027 Bob Goff -- Land the Plane

For all the planning that you’ve been doing to set absurd expectations, explore opportunities,  clear the path, take action, expect setbacks and sustaining belief, it’s now time to land the plane of your big ambitions. This is the moment, now is the time. Don’t wait a minute longer, heaven is leaning over the rails to watch what you do next.

For some, the hardest part of the dream big framework is finding the courage to set absurd expectations in the first place.

For others, though, they get stuck in the planning. There’s so much thinking and pondering and ruminating that it becomes a never-ending cycle of inactivity. Going public with your dreams requires courage, and the temptation to wait a little longer or plan a little more is strong.

But you have to land the plane.

If your dream is big enough, it's going to take you months or maybe even years to see it realized. There's no question that you're going to have multiple moments of doubt, discouragement, or even a deep questioning about your capacity to keep going.

If your dream is going to see the light of day, then you're going to need to learn how to sustain belief.

It's different for everybody. You might need close friends to give you frequent reminders of encouragement. You might need to keep returning to the original reason why you had this ambition in the first place. Or you might need to establish a habit of writing down, again and again, the reasons why this matters to you.

No one else can manufacture belief for you- it's something you're going to have to do on your own.
